Product Design & Development:

Product Designs & Development is a very broad concept and if the proper approach is not taken, it can be a very costly and time-consuming process. At MiamiPrototypes we take a very systematic approach to Product Design and Development. Starting with research, then working our way into the functional specification and design intent.

Once the project goals are mapped out and design intent is confirmed and approved by the client, conceptual designs will be created. The conceptual designs generated by our industrial designers will always take into consideration, feasibility, functionality, and manufacturability. During the conceptual design stage, MiamiPrototypes will work closely with the client in order to ensure that we are working towards the same end goal. Combining Conceptual Design, and Functional Specifications, MiamiPrototypes will work towards a client approved the conceptual design.

Once the conceptual design has been approved, MiamiPrototypes will begin the engineering phase. During this place, our engineers create digital prototypes of the client’s product to virtually explore the product before it’s ever built.

What is OEM stand for?

A digital prototype is a fully detailed computer-aided design (CAD) of your product, which allows us to design, iterate, optimize, validate, and visualize your products digitally, throughout the product development process. It will include details such as material selection, assembly details, OEM components, surface finishing, color, material properties…etc.

What does this mean?

This is what differentiates MiamiPrototypes from other product designs companies. While these companies use the traditional product design process which is DESIGN-BUILD-TEST-FIX (Many times over). MiamiPrototypes instead uses Digital Prototyping which changes the traditional product design cycle to DESIGN-ANALYZE-TEST-BUILD
